The March meeting was brought to order by Pres. Tim Simpson at 12:10 pm at McPete's in Big Lake,MN
1st Agenda item up was the registration of the club. We were brought up to speed on that by Tim who let us know that we are now registered with both the State of Minnesota as well as the IRS. The next step is to be incorporated. Tim also let us know that he has the paper work and is in the process of filing it with the State of Minnesota. More to fallow on the progress of that later on.
2nd Agenda item up was Club Bylaws. With the registration and incorporation we will have to have bylaws in place for the club to abide by. The officers will be going over what we feel will be good bylaws for the club. Once we have come up with them they will be posted for the members to look over and to comment on, we will then look over all comments and ideas and decide what bylaws will work best for our club.
3rd Agenda item up was the Big Lake Car Show. This years show will again be at McPete's in Big Lake MN on Sunday May 16th from 10:30am - 3:00pm Proceeds from which will be donated to the Big Lake food shelf. O'Rilley Auto Parts of Big Lake will supply the trophy's, and the NorthStarNovas will supply a oak plaque for the best of show. Volunteers will be needed to work the show. Also donations for the food shelf of a non perishable food would be greatly appreciated.
4th Agenda item was Tee-Shirts. We now have the ball rolling on Shirts, Jackets, Hats and more thanks to member Dave Mikel's wife Marie. Marie is an Account Executive for
www.phoenixmark.com which provides promotional & marketing needs. She gave us a very nice presentation of there products and promotions. The club officers will be meeting with Marie next month to decide on what products we will go with. Thank You again Marie for helping us out with this.
Last Agenda item was Club Finances.Club tres. Ed Egly let us know we are in good shape with our finances.
